I made a short and funny trailer-like video for our student presentations at Perimeter! The music track is "Akkadian Empire", by Paul Dinletir from Audiomachine. The video contains an image from Pastawski et al., arXiv 1503.06237.
The PSIminars are, as their own name suggests, seminars presented by PSI students to their partners and anyone who wants to join. (You can see a poster for my PSIminar in the poster section.) In the year 2015/2016, the PSIminars were given in two rounds, one in summer and early autumn, the other in spring. To celebrate the comeback before the second round, we recorded this trailer, which was screened, conveniently, on April 1st, 2016. The music tracks in it are "Breathe" by Two Steps from Hell, and "Guardians at the Gate" by Audiomachine.
Here are also some bloopers to remind us of the fun we had while recording. The music track is "The bread is hard as crackers" by Velella Velella.
I was infinitely lucky to share my master's year at PI with 28 extraordinary fellow students. At the end of the year, we prepared this short video for our graduation ceremony as a souvenir of an awesome year :-)
